Mark Shee

Mark is a Cambridge Entrepreneur with big business and international experience. He has been working in Marketing, Business Development and Consulting at Management and Director level within the IT market place for over 15 years. He has worked for Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft and directed his own Cambridge based company, Cambridge Convergence Ltd to Microsoft Gold Partner level contracting to a host of major international companies including car companies Lotus, Mazda and Nissan, Telecoms BT, Vodafone, Sony-Ericsson and Nokia. Cambridge Convergence developed award winning software which allowed effective communication between disparate systems; such was their success that they were able to sell the software to Microsoft. The software was a cornerstone for the senior management teams’ reporting system.

An expert at competitive analysis and strategic marketing with the IT/mobility market place, Mark has been contracted by Microsoft as their competitive lead for Microsoft Office reporting on the impact of competition upon European and Asian market places. He has presented to the senior management team in Seattle on several occasions promoting a more open community based approach/mobility/cloud computing services.

Mark is presently based in Asia, having recognised the global shift towards this continent. He is building a small business in Asia www.thailanguagehut.com - teaching Thai and English, alongside exploring other opportunities and delivering consultancy engagements. Mark is our Regional Director for Thailand.
