Karl has spent the past 20 years working within the Internet Industry in both Technical and Sales and Marketing Roles and was Director of Channel Marketing Strategy for WorldCom in EMEA. His roles took him across most of Europe and the Middle East, culminating in working for King Hussain of Jordan. Karl is currently Product Marketing Manager for GÉANT - a not-for-profit network provider for the European research and education community. This role incorporates both delivery of network services and marketing these products through a complex distributed channel of national providers and campuses across Europe. His particular expertise is the use of Web Analysis and Social Media to accurately reach customers. Karl has an MBA from The Open University with a particular emphasis on International Enterprise Development and Knowledge Management.
