Katie Hart studied with the Cambridge Marketing College when she began her career in the industry, back in 1997.

She worked within a Marketing Communications agency, working with small and large clients alike, before becoming a Director and taking it over in 2000. She ran the company for a few years, before closing it and becoming the Marketing Manager for Business Link Cambridgeshire. Katie then spent five years as Director of Enterprise Agencies in Cambridgeshire, providing training and support to entrepreneurs across the county. This experience of working with the very smallest and newest of companies, whilst working for a public sector organisation, gave her a tremendous insight into the different ways the organisations operate.

Since 2008, she has worked for herself, bringing psychological insights from neuro-science into the field of Marketing. Her company uses the latest research and experimental findings, to enhance the effectiveness, and ultimately profitability, of a wide variety of B2B and B2C companies.

Katie is our Course Leader for the CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing and tutor for the Customer Experience module, teaching both classes and distance learning. She is also a tutor for the Marketing Assistant apprenticeship.
