The CAM Diploma in Digital Marketing (Media & Branding) provides students with both the knowledge underpinning the principles of digital marketing and the skills to evaluate and integrate digital media.

The qualification

The full qualification consists of three mandatory modules, which are listed in detail below.


The full qualification usually takes 12-18 months to complete.

Entry criteria

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or 2+ years experience in a sales or marketing role.

Course modules:

Marketing and Consumer Behaviour Mandatory

Study hours: 130

  • The Marketing Mix (7Ps)
  • How customers make purchase decisions
  • Theories of marketing using psychology and sociology

Assessment: Assessment is by a work-based assignment.

Digital Marketing Essentials Mandatory

Study hours: 130

  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click (PPC)
  • New and emerging digital trends
  • Social Media
  • Digital metrics, and much more

Assessment: Assessment is by a work-based assignment.

Integrating Digital Media & Branding Mandatory

Study hours: 130

  • Integrating and evaluating all key communication channels
  • Future trends, considering Web 4.0
  • New influence models and growing impact of neuroscience on digital communications practice

Assessment: Assessment is by a work-based assignment.
