The qualification

The full qualification consists of three mandatory modules, which are listed in detail below.


The full qualification usually takes 12-18 months to complete.

Entry criteria

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or 2+ years experience in a sales or marketing role.

Course modules:

Marketing and Consumer Behaviour Mandatory

Study hours: 130

  • The Marketing Mix (7Ps)
  • How customers make purchase decisions
  • Theories of marketing using psychology and sociology

Assessment: Assessment is by a work-based assignment.

Digital Marketing Essentials Mandatory

Study hours: 130

  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click (PPC)
  • New and emerging digital trends
  • Social Media
  • Digital metrics, and much more

Assessment: Assessment is by a work-based assignment.

Digital Marketing Planning Mandatory

Study hours: 130

  • Fundamental digital marketing planning concepts
  • Implementation, measurement and evaluation of successful campaigns
  • Similarities and differences in traditional and digital marketing
  • Relationship marketing and concerns around privacy, trust and security

Assessment: Assessment is by a work-based assignment.
