Course overview

Appreciate the impact that digital technology has had on marketing activities and its effect on customers. Understand the digital marketing tools available, how those tools can be used and how to develop digital marketing content.

Entry criteria

  • A-Levels (or equivalent)
  • English language proficiency

Course module:

Digital Fundamentals Mandatory

Study hours: 120, split into a provided weekly study plan.

Please note: By choosing this module as an elective when studying the full qualification, the student would be awarded with the CIM Foundation Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing

  • Understand the impact of digital technology on marketing activities
  • Understand the effect of digital technologies on customers
  • Understand the use of digital marketing tools
  • Outline the development of digital marketing content
  • Know how to develop digital marketing communications campaigns
  • Understand how to measure digital marketing communications campaigns
