Since 2018 Cambridge Marketing College has trained over 1000 apprentices. It’s time to shout about how amazing our apprentices are and highlight their achievements. Here are our top apprentice stories that we’ll know you’ll love.

Louise Murphy – Calderwood Coffee

Louise Murphy started her Marketing Assistant Apprenticeship in January (2024). With a goal to help the homeless in her local area in West Cumbria, she created a coffee brand named Calderwood Coffee. Her profits from Calderwood Coffee go to the organisation Time to Change West Cumbria, a Social Enterprise set up to tackle poverty, unemployment and homelessness in West Cumbria

Louise Murphy shared her thoughts about her business and the journey so far.

“Since launching Calderwood Coffee, I’ve pretty much managed the entire process myself, and I’m so pleased that it’s still going strong six months in.

I’m also excited to share a new project that I’m passionate about, which I believe is a perfect extension of the Calderwood Coffee ethos. I’m in the process of opening a coffee shop at our community centre! “

With all Louise’s achievements, it’s not hard to see why she was also shortlisted for a Rising Star award at the BECBC Business Awards 2024.
