There has been so much in the news recently about the climate emergency and extreme summer temperatures. This is what I have been reading and listening to over the past month on climate change and the wider sustainability agenda:

Climate and weather are not the same thing, but people are increasingly aware the two are inextricably linked. With so much news and opinion flying around, these four simple but stark charts from The Guardian really show that 'a picture paints a thousand words'.
Stories to Save the World
Together with pictures, stories are really great for helping us to understand and see a path forward. I really like this guide from Futerra on 'how to create climate stories that break the mould and define the paths for a new reality'
Are E.S.G. Investors Actually Helping the Environment?
I'm a big fan of the Freakonomics podcast - every episode teaches me something new - but for sustainability professionals, this episode is a great summary on the current state of ESG
Sustainability Gap Index: Greenwashing vs Greenhushing
I've included quite a lot about greenwashing in past editions of 'Sustainability InSight'. This extensive and authoritative report from Brand Finance explains how businesses can be missing out on brand value if they undersell their sustainability credentials.
ISSB launches first two standards, aiming to unify corporate climate disclosures
Sustainability reporting standards can be complex and confounding in equal measure, but they are important and the recent launch of two new standards from the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) should help to unify and streamline corporate reporting requirements.
