    Entry criteria

    • CIPR Professional PR Certificate, or
    • one year's experience and one of the following: CIPR Specialist Certificate: Internal Communication, CIM Diploma, UK Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a PR-related discipline (such as business, marketing, management, communication, media or journalism), or
    • Two year's relevant full-time employement in PR and one of the following: CAM Advanced Diploma in Marketing Communications, NCTJ Diploma, UK Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any subject, or
    • Four years' relevant full-time employment in PR (or related sectors) and 5 GCSES

    Crisis Communications Practice Mandatory

    Key concepts in crisis response

    • Opportunities and Threats to trust and reputation
    • Analyse and define types of crisis
    • Manage media and social media in a crisis
    • Establishing a crisis ready organisation
    • Trust as an asset

    Assessment: Assessment is by a work based assignment, comprising of an Executive Report and a supporting summary analysis. 4,500 words in total
