Terms of service

These terms and conditions set out the agreement between us, Cambridge Marketing College, and you as an attendee of our course. Any additional terms and conditions which are course specific are detailed under the course heading.

  1. Payments
    1. The fees for any course at any given time are as displayed on our website. Fees are quoted in pounds sterling, exclusive of VAT and exclusive of additional accredited body charges unless stated otherwise.
    2. All bookings must be paid for in full to guarantee registration. Once payment has been received, an email confirmation will be sent. If payment is not made at the time of booking, registration will be provisional.
    3. If you fail to settle any outstanding fees, we reserve the right to cancel your enrolment on any other courses and/or to withhold pending assessments due for submission.
  2. Early bird rate
In order to qualify for any early bird rates, booking and payment must be received before the deadline date listed in the conference marketing material.
  3. Substitutions and cancellations
    1. Attendees may nominate an alternative person from their organisation to attend up to 24 hours prior to the start of the course, at no extra charge.
    2. Cancellations received in writing more than 7 days before the course will be refunded, less a £10 administration fee. We regret that no refunds will be given for cancellations or transfers within 7 days or for non-attendance.
  4. Access requirements
    1. Attendees should advise of any special access requirements at the time of registration.
    2. We will do what we can to make sure the venue is available to be accessed for the duration of the course but we cannot guarantee that it will meet your specific requirements or that the venue's insurance arrangements will cover your specific risks (including in relation to damage, liability, cancellation or curtailment).
  5. Registration information
Registration information will be sent to registered attendees by email at least seven days prior to the course. If you have not received the registration information within seven days of the course, please contact us.
  6. Alterations to programme
    1. We reserve the right to make alterations to the course programme, venue and timings. In the unlikely event of the course being cancelled, a full refund will be made if no alternative options are viable for you.
    2. While every care is taken to ensure that any information given to attendees is correct, we cannot accept responsibility for information provided by third parties.
  7. Photography and filming
    1. For promotional purposes, there may be a professional photographer and video production taking place during the course. Attendees who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise us by email prior to attending the course.
    2. Some of our virtual courses may be recorded for internal quality control purposes. In exceptional circumstances, recordings may also be shared with attendees who have approved reasonable adjustments and this will be for a maximum period of 14 days. Attendees who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise us by email prior to attending the course.
  8. Contributions and acceptable use
    1. Attendees must show a professional attitude to the course. Attendees must respect both the speakers and the other attendees, this includes refraining from inappropriate language, comments and behaviour.
    2. Attendees are not permitted to use recording equipment.
    3. Attendees must not interfere with, intentionally or recklessly, our provision of the course. If you do not comply with this in a way which seriously impacts on our ability to provide the course to you or someone else, we may end this contract. In these circumstances, we will refund any fees paid by you in advance for outstanding parts of the course which you have not yet received, but we will charge you reasonable compensation for the costs we incur as a result of you breaking the contract.
    4. For multiple day/session courses, the courses have been designed so that all elements must be attended in order to derive full value from them. Save as expressly set out in these terms, refunds will not be offered for any missed sessions. However, if you are ill or away because of your commitments at work or home please let us know, so we can suggest extra support.
    5. We reserve the right to withhold any assessment submission and / or course completion confirmation if we have reason to believe you have breached these terms.
    6. You agree to comply with our AI Usage Policy.
  9. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

    1. If these Terms are breached, we will only be responsible for:
      1. The proportion of the foreseeable loss or damage you suffered to the extent caused by us;
      2. Failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not “foreseeable”. By “foreseeable”, we mean either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, we both knew it might happen.
    2. Our course is provided for your use in a capacity as an individual only, as such we will not have any liability to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
