The 15 students from the J D Birla Institute, Kolkata, India enjoyed a challenging week of classes taught by Cambridge Marketing College tutors

Students from the J D Birla Institute, Kolkata, India travelled to Cambridge for our first week long residential course. The 15 students from the Department of Management enjoyed an eye-opening week of classes taught by Cambridge Marketing College tutors. Classes took place in the beautiful Madingley Hall.

The first day was Digital Marketing, followed by Innovation, International Marketing, PR and Entrepeneurship. On the final morning, the students presented ideas for a product launch based on their new knowledge. Their ideas for stairlifts for older Indian properties, a shoe with a removable heel, and a digital wallet were innovative, with interesting ideas for marketing and breaking into a new market.

The students were accompanied by the Director of the Institute Dr Jayant Mukhopadhyay and  Mr Deepak Pramanik, Founder of Aidias, one of the College's Indian partners.

All the students rated the course highly and we look forward to welcoming more groups from the Institute in the coming months.
