Cambridge Marketing College (CMC) has been selected as one of only three qualification providers to be awarded Strategic Partner status by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). The move is designed to raise the standard of marketing education across the country, and to equip students with the skills that employers need.

With an increasingly international student base, CMC believes that becoming a Strategic Partner is recognition of its best-in-class status, and will help it to further improve standards and to drive marketing success. CMC will also be able to develop marketing events and access leading speakers from across industry.

Maggie Jones, Director of Qualifications and Partnerships at CIM said:

“The new Strategic Partner programme provides a greater synergy between CIM and leading qualification providers, while adding value to the qualification students receive. The new programme delivers a clear advantage for the college, ensuring students have access to the training they need to achieve their professional goals.”

Kiran Kapur, CEO of CMC said:

“Having taught CIM qualifications since 1991, CMC has always seen marketing knowledge as key to professional development. We have always championed a combination of theory and practical experience. We look forward to working more closely with the CIM and the other Strategic Partners to promote marketing as key to sustainable business growth.”

The CIM is the world’s leading marketing body with over 30,000 members around the world.
