Entry criteria and support

  • GCSEs (or equivalent)
  • If English is not your first language, you will need to demonstrate English language proficiency (IELTS Academic Module overall score of 6.5 or equivalent)

You don’t need any marketing experience to complete a CIM Level 3 qualification. 

We recommend a minimum period of 4 months to complete the Foundation Certificate. To allow you to fit studying around other commitments, we offer support for 24 months for CIM qualifications and 6 months for CIM Modular Awards.

Content and Channels Module:

  • Understand how communications channels are used in marketing
  • Determine the best type of content to use in marketing communications
  • Understand how to choose the most suitable channel(s) and content for a communications campaign

Cambridge Marketing College has a 100% pass rate on the Content and Channels module (May 2025)

  • Assessed by a multiple choice on-screen exam which lasts 90 minutes. This exam has 50 questions in total.
