The Marketing Executive apprenticeship is designed for businesses looking to develop or hire junior marketing talent who can make a genuine impact on day-to-day marketing activity.
It provides marketing apprentices with marketing capability, commercial understanding, and strong digital skills so they can contribute effectively to modern marketing teams from early in their role. The Marketing Executive apprenticeship combines structured online learning with workplace application over 15 months of training, followed by up to 5 months for End Point Assessment.

What learners will be able to do?
On completion of the Marketing Executive apprenticeship, apprentices can support and deliver marketing activity within a business, combining core marketing capability with practical AI skills. They can plan and contribute to integrated marketing campaigns, create and manage content across digital and offline channels, and apply key digital marketing techniques, including SEO, paid search, email marketing, and social media. Through integrated AI training, they also develop the ability to use artificial intelligence tools to support content creation, improve campaign performance, and enhance marketing efficiency.
Marketing apprentices will be able to analyse marketing data to support decision-making, maintain consistent brand messaging, and strengthen customer engagement, while working effectively with internal stakeholders and marketing teams. This ensures they become productive, AI-enabled contributors to modern marketing activity from the very first day.

Duration and cost
- Duration: 15 months learning and up to 5 months for End Point Assessment (EPA)
- Cost: £6,000
- Funding: Levy-funded or employer-funded. 100% government co-investment for apprentices under the age of 19.
- Weekly commitment: Minimum 6 hours off-the-job training
- Assessment: 90-minute multiple-choice test, professional discussion and a project showcase (identical to the standard Marketing Executive apprenticeship)
