Overview
This AI Content Creator apprenticeship is a 15-month programme that includes 30 hours of free AI training. Marketing apprentices learn how to plan and produce high-performing content using business goals, audience insights, SEO research, and AI-driven search trends, creating copy, visuals, and multimedia content for digital platforms. Learners then have up to 3 months to complete their End Point Assessment (EPA).

What learners will be able to do?
This AI Content Creator apprenticeship teaches apprentices how to plan, create, and manage content across social media, websites, print, and other digital channels. They will have practical skills in SEO, copywriting, editing, audience engagement, and content strategy, and will know how to use AI tools to improve both speed and quality of output. They’ll be able to support and deliver multi-channel content campaigns that align with your business goals and connect effectively with your target audience.

- Use research, data, and trends (including SEO and AI search) to plan content
- Plan, budget, and organise content across different channels and platforms
- Adapt writing style and tone for different audiences and platforms
- Plan and schedule content across multiple channels and customer journeys
- Ensure content meets legal, regulatory, and brand requirements
- Create copy, visuals, and multimedia content, including using AI tools
- Apply SEO and audience targeting to improve content performance
- Publish, manage, and evaluate content using data and insights
- Understand how marketing teams operate in real business environments
- Work to deadlines and respond to commercial needs

Duration and cost
- Duration: 15 months learning and up to 3 months for End Point Assessment (EPA)
- Cost: £10,000
- Funding: Levy-funded or employer-funded. 100% government co-investment for apprentices under the age of 19.
- Weekly commitment: Minimum 6 hours off-the-job training
- Assessment: Evaluation report, presentation, professional discussion with portfolio (identical to the standard Content Creator apprenticeship).
