The CAM Diploma in Digital Marketing (Analytics and Social Media Monitoring) provides delegates with both the knowledge underpinning the principles of digital marketing and the skills to handle digital metrics and analytics.

The qualification

The course consists of three mandatory modules, which are listed in detail below.

Duration

The full qualification usually takes 12-18 months to complete.

Entry criteria

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or 2+ years experience in a sales or marketing role.

Marketing and Consumer Behaviour Mandatory

Study hours: 130

  • The Marketing Mix (7Ps)
  • How customers make purchase decisions
  • Theories of marketing using psychology and sociology

Assessment: Assessment is by a work-based assignment.

Digital Marketing Essentials Mandatory

Study hours: 130

  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click (PPC)
  • New and emerging digital trends
  • Social Media
  • Digital metrics, and much more

Assessment: Assessment is by a work-based assignment.

Web Analytics and Social Media Monitoring Mandatory

Study hours: 130

  • Basic online research principles
  • Reviewing customer interactions on a range of digital platforms
  • Brand conversations across all platforms and taking appropriate action

    Assessment: Assessment is by a work-based assignment.
