Course overview

Marketers need to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers. This award will provide you with the skills to assist in developing communications to build sustainable relationships. Download sample chapters


The award usually takes 6 months to complete. It may be studied as part of the full CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing qualification (which comprises 3 modules) or as a stand-alone short course leading to a CIM Award.

Entry criteria

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or 2+ years’ experience in a sales or marketing role.

  • The Marketing Communications Mix and planning

Assessment: Assessment is by submission of a 12-page assignment based on a given scenario and an organisation of your choice.
