Paul Cowell

Paul Cowell is a seasoned Lecturer of Marketing working as a freelance for a number of Universities in the United Kingdom. This covers both classroom taught lessons and distance learning tutoring via electronic and traditional media ranging from 1st year Undergraduate to Postgraduate programmes and embracing professional courses.

Paul gained his experience in higher education following the distance/part-time learning route and as a consequence has a strong empathy with those who learn by this method themselves. He understands the need to be determined to succeed.

This determination is a carry over from his working life where Paul has always worked for himself in areas as diverse as motor trading to being a children’s entertainer and counts the mercurial Manchester United footballer George Best as a former customer. Currently, as well as teaching Paul is working on Internet based projects and is a Podcaster for Pearson Education.

Paul has an MSc in marketing and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He also has an M Ed from the Open University. He has been a tutor for Cambridge Marketing College for many years teaching a broad range of courses usually at our Manchester Study Centre.
