Ian spent ten years in European sales management before holding senior management positions in marketing. Ian has held roles as a marketing manager, marketing consultant, product manager, business analyst and as a part-time CIM tutor. Ten years ago he joined the public sector in economic development to promote and expand an industry sector and was seconded to a private sector project as head of marketing for four years. Ian has more than twenty years of marketing and communications experience both in the public and private sectors. He is currently employed by the government in programme management and brings a wide business perspective to marketing. He has an MBA from Warwick Business School, a Diploma in Public Relations (CIPR) and a Diploma in Marketing (CIM) and has been a Chartered Marketer for more than 12 years.
