Giving Back Programme

Over the years the College has supported a number of events and programmes designed to provide marketing advice for young people and voluntary organisations including Young Enterprise and Destination Growth. In recent months we have had many more requests for help from small businesses and charitable organisations struggling with the recession and requests from delegates wanting or needing to undertake assignments to complete their studies. As a result we have launched our own College Programme: Giving Back.

The aim of the programme is to provide free marketing advice and support to small businesses, voluntary and community organisations which have a genuine need for assistance and to provide College tutors, delegates and alumni with the opportunity to undertake pro-bono marketing projects and assignments.

Why take part?

Giving back some of the skills and expertise you have gained can be very rewarding and will also broaden your experience and horizons.If you are currently looking for a new job, gaining additional experience will strengthen your CV. If you are currently unemployed and need to undertake assignments to complete your studies the programme may be able to help you find a suitable assignment that will not only benefit an organisation in need but also enable you to complete your qualification.

If you would like to volunteer to be matched to a project or assignment complete the Expression of Interest Form available here and send it to info@marketingcollege.com. We will then try to match your experience, skills and needs with requests for support received.

Do you need some free Marketing Support?

We have asked Young Lives to help launch our "Giving Back" programme for the voluntary sector and we want to match our students, past and present, with charities that need marketing support. All requests will be forwarded to us and we will try and match the request with suitably qualified people from our network of marketing students.
