CIM Professional Certificate for those in Agri and Rural Business Marketing
This course is designed especially to help farmers and small producers of food and drink in the UK develop their marketing skills and take advantage of opportunities in the market place. It is based on the CIM Professional Certificate but adapted for marketers working in the Food Sector. It has been developed in collaboration with the Institute of Grocery Distribution and Kent Business School and comprises the 4 modules of the CIM Professional Certificate:
Delegates have a specialist Course Director, Henry Matthews, who is a successful farmer both in the UK and Eastern Europe, a senior lecturer in Marketing and a consultant on overseas farm development; text books, webinars and assignments. The course usually takes 12 months to complete. Successful delegates receive both the CIM Professional Certificate and a CMC Award.
The course is available by Distance Learning. However, if you want to have face to face tuition you can upgrade and attend taught Professional Certificate sessions at Evening Classes, Executive Weekends, Saturday Seminars, or through Supported Open Learning.
Taught sessions are available at our Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Guildford, Manchester and Nottingham Study Centres.
The course is suitable for:
- Delegates with a Bachelor or Masters degree in a non-Business discipline and limited marketing experience
- More experienced delegates with limited academic qualifications
- Delegates working for an Agri or Rural Business or with a connected organisation
